Well i did a compression test today to see if i could go turbo or not.
And here are the results. Starting with #1 180,190,190,190. So how's it look?

That looks damn good. Close as hell for a 6 year old motor. And no, a compression tester is nothing like a dyno, you can buy the tool at a parts store for like 25 bucks. Tells you nothing about HP whatsoever. Just tells you how tight your engine is basically by giving you the pressure at TDC from each cylinder from the spark plug holes.

What is the good range for our motors? I have heard that if the compression goes below the 160 you need to rebuild.

Well i think the only reason #1 is lower is because a year ago, i blew a spark plug out of the motor and it took the threads with it on the way out. I tapped it and installed a insert and put a new plug in since it broke when it hit the hood. Maybe the insert has a slight leak?
