Alright, lets see if I can explain this. My car wouldent start.....I have had problems with fuel pump/line before. So I decided to check the fuel lines under my rear seat. When I unscrewd the latch, it didnt feel like anything was loose. But anyway, i just pushed in on the wires and squeezed them and sure enuff, the car started. After I let it run, I turnd the car off and then tried to restart it. It started but then died again. So I sqeezed the wires and they worked again.

So now I am wondering, exactly what wire causes the fuel to cut off? under the seat there is like that rubber hose hooked on by a clamp, i dont think that has anything to do with it. And then there is the wires that go into the connector. Do you think I need a new connector or seomething. If so, do they sell such a thing at pep boys and would it be easy to get the wires out of the old connector and into the new one?

Also I notced the wires run under my rear seats side panels, but then where do they go? I was going to take off the panels, but I ddint have time. Do they go to my engine or where?

the line with the spring clamp is your return line. Don't mess with that.

When you say you squeezed a connector, are you talking about the sending unit? if so there is only two lines coming out of that socket plug. A solid black, and black/blue.

the black and blue turn on your fuel pump. that could be the culprit. check with a volt meter to see if you have a bad connection some where.
