ok, car was running fine this morning. I took gauge cluster out and forgot that if the cluster is out, my remote start will start the engne but then kill it right away. So i tried starting it with the remote starter and it started the engine 4 times before i could stop it. So about 1 hour later i go to start it and now it wont start.

i tried the error code thing and got code 55 which means no errors. But in that same region where the check engine light/oil/all those other lights are, there is a number "1" that is lit up now. What does that mean?

I changed spark plugs, no help.

try reseting the computer.. don't know what the 1 means though.
but maybe remote starting without the gauge cluster confused the cpu.

how do i reset it?

unplug the negative wire from your battery for like 10 min.. then reconect it.

that didnt work, although i know my error system is working cause after i hooked the battery back up, i got error 12 and that has to deal with the battery being unhooked.
