ok, i took what I thought was a GST muffler to a shop to get installed, told him in was direct bolt on. He goes and looks at it and says that it is not bolt on, so im like wtf. He showed me under my car too so i know he wasnt just saying it to charge me more money. The supposed GST muffler i got, on the back where it hooks up to the pipes, it has one pipe coming out, prolly about 5 inches long and then it has 3 screws. but on my stock piping, the place where you have to hook up that 5 inch end pipe is all the way in front of my rear tires. So wtf? Is this a gst muffler, or what? Does anyone have a pic of a gst muffler showing the back where the pipes hook up so i can look and see if its the same on I have.

If you want to see what the gst rear section looks like get under your car and look at the piping from the flange right before it curves over the axle and than to the muffler. The gs-t follows the same route.

Just have the shop chop off your muffler and replace it. If he can't than he should be shot.

yeah just cut the muffler off and weld it to your piping.

ah sell the muffler and get an aftermarket one if your gonna weld one or since your gonna go that route... might as well get a pacesetter catback and pay 160 bucks hell i wish i would of done that in the first place for a really good sounding muffler and the yellow turns black dont worry
