I have a 98 GS with Injen intake and Thermal Cat back. I am getting headers soon, is it a good idea to gut out your cat? That is catalytic convertor, not the animal :)

If you don't mind the smell of the rich exhaust gases and don't have to worry about passing emissions, go for it.
After 2 years with a gutted cat I am kinda getting tired of the smell.
