Im going to pick up my motor next week from the engine shop. WHen I get it back, I will reassemble it with the howell bottom end kit I have.

My question is, are there any differences in installation of gapless rings vs standard rings??

Yes. I have no idea off the top of my head but the middle ring is a funky number and the the end gap may be different. Both are listed clearly in the instructions I just dont have em anymore. If you email them with any questions they will email you almost right back.

Hey Stan, You have those rings correct? If so, What's the compression numbers on the Talon right now after the years of Nitrous and Boost?

I thought the middle ring was actually two overlapping rings that created a seal all the way around... I could be wrong. But I do know they are a better seal than stock rings.

the top ring is a standard ring, the second ring is actually 2 interlocking rings that have gaps located 180* from each other and the oil ring is like any other 3 piece oil ring
