I didnt kno which forum to put this in Nitrious or Turbo, so Im postin it here. But neways. I want nitrous and I want turbo, which one should I get 1st? Basic nos kit is cheaper than turbo, but If i get that 1st then get turbo later, will I have to change the nitrous system? Do turbos take different nitrous systems?

Yeah, I believe that non-turbos take a dry-kit, and turbos take a wet-kit.

no, i think the early 95's take a dry kit and every year after takes a wet, or it might be the other way around, as far as the kits for the turbo, im not sure

95's are dry- 96+ are wet. In my opinion, turbo is better. IF you have the money go turbo

All you need is a nice turbo setup. if you ever feel the need to get nos, there is always another mod you can do to your turbo setup to improve performance. I have had nos on 2 cars in the past, but I wontr not run nos on a car with turbo, even in my current state, I am reluctant to and nos for spoolup, mostly because I am not a track racer, just a street racer and I havent had any problems there... if you are wanting to get into drag racing, then you might want to add nos in with a turbo system, but I advise you to work through all the turbo stuff first, then add nos once you have learned much about you car and engines in general.

Any yr will take a wet kit. only 95's will take dry. There are two approaches:

A)run a dry shot controlled by a DFI or other engine management while turbo'd
b)run a wet the old fashion way while turbo

Both require such extensive fuel system upgrades to use both at the same time that I'd it say it really doesn't matter which you get first, you'll be changing a lot of shit anyway by the time you can use them both. My philosophy is get the most expensive shit out the way 1rst whenever possible so I'd get the bottom end done 1rst, turbo second, fuel system upgrades to use both, then nitrous. My other philosophy is if your broke thats no excuse to do nothing in which case I'd get the nitrous 1rst and the others as they become reachable.
In all honesty once you have a bottom end and fuel system capable of running both at the same time nitrous is pointless unless your trying to run 10s or better.

With a good turbo kit alone you will not need nitrous. Going from stock to turbo is a big difference and with a kit like a HRC Stage 4 or 5 I dought you will be wanting more. Like stated above running nitrous on top of a turbo is crazy unless you plan on makeing some wicked 1/4 mile passes.
