i got mine today, but id dont seem right for 3 motor mounts. all i got was one box with 2 sets of 2 red pieces, and 2 big washers? Is that only for one mount? I thought you got everything needed for all three. the way everyone on the board talks its a great mod for "$20.00", is that 20.00 for one only? what gives, did i get shorted from summit, or do i need 2 more?

There is a Prothane kit that does all four mounts, this is a $80 kit or so. Did you get Prothane or Energy Suspension? It sounds like NRG Susp. to me, which only does front and rear. Front and rear are four pieces.

i got the NRG susp. one, do i need a different kit or can i get the another kit for the other two mounts? (i thought we only had three mount points, wheres the 4th?) what the hell is everybody getting on here then for 20.00 that is so great with helping launches and transfering torque?

I believe that the energy susp kit is a 6 pc kit, and there are 3 mounts..right?? Thats what i thought anyway..

The Energy Suspension $20 motor mounts are 2 pieces that fit around each side of the front motor mount and then the washers go on the outside of it. The other 2 pieces go around each side of the back mount and thats what you get for $20. You don't get anything for the side motor mounts, just the front and back.

Okay, so no washers for the back mount? Do it need them? is there inserts for the side mount and is it really needed that much if the other two are done?

I think front and back is a lot more important anyway. Rev your motor and watch it jerk front and back. I don't think the sides are that important, and will probably just make you feel your car's vibrations even more.

You got the energy suspension kit from summit, thats for front and back, really easy tyo install them, no brainer.. take out some bolts, slap on the inserts, and bolt her back up... the 4th motor mount your forgetting about is located on the tranny right under the stand for the battery, my side motor mounts are in great condition, I am not worried about upgrading them anytime soon, nor would even know when this would be a good idea to do.....

ya, every one answered your ?s tim, check my site for a walkthru on the front one. the rear is more difficult.

on my side mount (pass side) i stuffed cut-up old rollerhockey wheels into it.
there is also a link on that page to another idea to stiffen up the other mounts..

I wouldnt worry about your side mounts. The inserts on the front and rear in my car made a HUGE difference. I'm happy now.
