17274, whaddupp with my compression? Posted by Mannyyy, Mar-12-02 01:32 PM I performed a compression test today on my 96 GS with 96k miles. It passed pretty well apparently... 220, 230, 210, 230 The thing is I expected my headgasket to be busted! My car leaks ¼ quart a week of oil and blows white smoke out the exhaust whenever it's hot. What else can be wrong with it? I totally expected the test to fail.
17275, RE: whaddupp with my compression? Posted by Breezio, Mar-12-02 04:33 PM something is leaking coolant into the combustion chamber and it doesn't have to be the headgasket.. could be something in the head and then comming down in the intake passage. just my guess.
