17143, Cost for shipping transmission? Posted by Kiku, Mar-11-02 04:06 AM
Our transmissions WITHOUT the clutch, weigh 86lbs.
Cost me $65 bux to ship it across the US from delaware to new mexico, via UPS ground.
Here's a tip. If you are going to ship something this heavy, make sure you take it all packaged up TO the ups distribution center. Dont go to a "pack N ship" or "mail box etc" type of store. They'll rape you! They wanted to charge me $250 to package and ship this sucka!
And if you take the box to UPS directly, they'll ship anything upwards to 150 lbs. _________________ Vinnie Lima kiku@asog.net AIM: Kiku888 1997 Chrysler Sebring "Silver XTC" I4 420a w/ HRC Stage 2.45 w/ FMIC 14.7@97 mph@6psi Proud member of the ASOG BoOsT JuNkIe Crew
