Anyone know if this exhaust will be ok to work on 95 eclipse non-turbo, greddy evo cat-back eclipse gst 95-99. Looks to be for a gst, just dont know how much this makes a difference on a non-turbo. Thks

the gs/rs piping is 2.5" so i would think the gst/gsx evo is 3" not sure though.

If it says GST its made for a GST you want the one that says RS/GS and im not sure if they make that model for our cars. If you havn't set your mind on it, get an APEXi N1 or Tanabe Racing Medalion there better IMO.

if it specifically says GST(X), then it will not fit your RS/GS.. and yes greddy does make exhaust systems for NTs.. you want the SP or the EVO.. SP is basically 2.5" (its measured in mm), and the EVO is close to 3".. so if you are NA, get the SP.. if you have boost, get the EVO. imo, the greddy exhaust are great.. look and sound are very nice and the performance gain is good too. only problem is that the pricing can be expensive.. good luck to you.

I would take a custom bent exhaust over a aftermarket catback system anyday.. but blow your money as you will. :-)

<edit>
for example, my car had a greddy catback on it when i got it, what did I do? Sold it and had custom piping made, and there was a very noticible <positive >difference, and I made money off the deal...
</edit>

btw, if your smart you will do stuff like that... I sold my factory tail lights for more than i paid for the Altezza's and to have the cmenter piece painted... and I sold my headlights for more than I am paying for projectors(dunno if this was a good idea or not, but they look good and i dont drive the car but on a blue moon)

"a custom bent exhaust"

Hey Super20G...How much did that cost you ? And where did you get it done ?

Any competent shop that can weld mandrel bent sections together for you, just call a few places, wont be too hard to find one... Catback is like umm 150 around here on average.

First off a GST exhaust WILL fit a GS/RS, but the GSX won't, only difference between GS/RS/GST and GSX is the bend at the rear axle. The Greddy EVO kicks ass, I can't tell you if the SP is better or worst but with the EVO I had (sigh) I noticed no loss in low and a lot of power at high end. Apexi and Tanabe are great too, but Tanabe cost an arm and 2 legs, and Apexi has a pretty loud exhaust note.

Yeah The GST exhaust will fit. I for one have it on my car. I am in the works of turboing and I put it on cause of the 3 inch piping. The only difference is at the ass end it goes under the rear brace instead of over. It is rather loud for a NA due to the larger piping and only having one resonator. I like it though.

just to let everyone know the SP greddy exhaust has 50mm piping = 1.99 inches = stock size.

the n1 has 80mm pipes = 3.2 inches.

>Which one is louder SP or EVO?

I had the Evo, but I switched to the SP. The SP and the EVO seem to have a similar exhaust note at WOT, but the SP sounds deeper and a bit louder overall. The other day I was at a Taco Bell drive thru and the cashier was saying that my muffler was making the walls shake inside the place when I was sitiing there idling. It was funny after that cause they got mad at me when I started reving the engine, next time I go there they'll probably spit in my taco.

go to greddy's website, the pipe diameter of the SP exhaust is 50mm, the evo is 60mm if i remember correctly...the stock has a 2" inner diameter.

Yeah, the Greddy Power Extreme does sound badass. I've heard all the other Greddy systems on n/a Eclipses, and I have to say the PE sounds the best. Its also the loudest. *shrug* I dont mind that though, I've had mine for over 2 years. Definitely deafer, but the smile on my face is worth it.

How here has a Greddy SP and almost all the piping is rusting? My resonator is rusting a few pipes in that area are rusting and worst of all the inside of MY MUFFLER IS FALLING APARTx( Thats not the bad part because I was thinking of costom piping and gutting the can but, the welds on the tip are rusting and I have rust spots all over the back of the can!

I love the look and sound of the SP but after having it fall apart on me I think I just might go with Apexi.

P.s. anyone running Thermal? How do you like it? Is it too loud for NA?
