Is it worth getting one ? I saw one for sale in a summit catalog for about 40 dollars....does it really help ?

it will help case it cools your oil but you realy dont need one unles you have a turbo or plan to get on

yep it never hurts to have one. Ours cars do not come with them also. GSTs to grrr... Anyway oil cooler would be a good mod if you have a turbo, if your NA I probably wouldn't worry about it. Benefits are: Increased mileage on oil, prolong oil life COoler Oil :P Cooler oil means less viscosity breakdown Cooler engine (did you know that motor oil is the 2nd coolant we have for the engine?)
I wouldn't getting one if you live in very cold places that snows a lot.

Cool. I do plan to turbo in the future...but I think its something that can wait until after the rebuild.
