16602, Would this exhaust setup be good? (please read)

I have the Pacesetter cat-back, but Im lookin for a muffler to make it look/sound better. What if I use just the 2.5" piping, and add a GS-T muffler? The turbo muffler is a high-flow muffler right? I figure it should be good. I would have the high-flow piping with a lower-sounding, factory-looking muffler. What does everyone think?

that's a pretty good set up if you don't want to go with an aftermarket muffler. and you will not have to replace it if you go turbo.

The only problem i see with that set up is the inlet for GST muffler is 2.25.

A shop can prolly put somethin in there though right? The turbo muffler isnt gonna kill the perfomance is it? From what Ive read, its a high-flow muffler.

It's not a high flow muffler. It's merely a high-er flowing muffler when compared to a RS/GS muffler. If you want a "high flow muffler," get one that's a straight through muffler without any restrictions. Straight through means, you can see right through it. A GS-T muffler can't be seen through.

jason is right, but if u decide on a straight thru muff with the pacesetter tubage (like me), you will need to weld in a better resonator cuz the psetter one sux, or to be nice, makes your car rapsy and honduhish (and u dont want that).

a 20 dolla cherrybomb resonator will solve your problem.

What do you mean 'weld in a resinator'? You mean the one that is in the middle of the piping on the Pacesetter?
