The first question is How many mounts do we have. I thought it was 2... the one in front and the one on the passenger side of the engine bay. Next when the mitsu dealer put my new tranny in they didnt tighten a mount so i got this horrible grinding sound from the tranny so after a while the morons finally fixed it and they said one of the mounts had backed up....WTF does that mean???? anyway the prob was gone...But last night i was burning out for fun (i know very stupid) and the same grinding noise came back.....Its not as bad as it was but it has returned....CAN YOU HELP ME....I checked the 2 mounts that i know of and every thing seemed tight.........

We have 4. one on each side, one on front and one on the rear. Try checking the one on the rear. mine broke off a year ago, now i got welded.
