i started my car after a hot day in so cal and boosting around 6psi, i open my hood to adjust my fuel since it was off again, and i heard this clicking/ticking noise coming from the area of the timing belt and alternator area i cant pinpoint where its coming from yet. its very low you can barley hear it... i tried reving it up and it went away but when i rev it again and let it idle it was making that noise again?... car runs fine etc... i will take a look later its too hot plus my car is to hot to mess with now...

It may be the EVAP solenoid. I believe that it is right down there by the sidemarker light. Something right there taps on my car at idle. I had the bumper off recently and it was definitely coming from the EVAP area. I didn't fix it though. I've got too much else to work on.

if you look from under the car on the passenger side area its the two little canister right? or is something else elsewhere?
is it anything to worry about?
