hi i was wondering how many of you guys have turboed a non tourbo rs or gs also how do you like it , is it worth it or what please tell me what kind of kit and your mods and hp

hell yeh it's worth it. custom setup...175hp,165tq @ the wheels running 3psi. other than the turbostuff, i don't have much else.

it was expensive as balls, but it's custom, i love it, and if you add up the cost that everything wouldhave been if i had bought it in the form of an (all new) hrc stage2 3000$+fmic 400$+400$ tuning+500$ electronics+ welding return line, extra parts etc. 100$...so far i'm up to 4400 not including any shipping costs. so let's say 4500 even if i had gotten everything that way online thru hrc and other online sources AND had done the install my self. well i paid 5500, got a full warantee (for a year) on all parts and labor, have help whenever i need it, have an awesome setup, have better parts (imo) than the hrc, AND have better dyno numbers than the dyno'd hrc's i've seen. and guess what else? they installed it. at most shops that would be about 800$ rite there which is the difference between the online route i just listed and the custom setup i finally decided upon. i know i couldhave gone the STAR route too and saved some money, but i wanted something different and wasnt up for building my own backyard setup from scratch. and i do know if i had gotten stuff used or on group buys it could of been even cheaper, but imo the benefits of this outweightd the cons. PEACE.

not mitseclps, but its a t3/t4, dont wanna sound like an ass, but if you dont know the difference you should really read up on turbos more. and given theres a star and hrc kit right on this page it should be a given.

...yeh, t3t4...one thing that supprised me was the blue ribbon mine has. does anyone else's have it? i have a friend w/ a turbo teg that has it too, but i've just never seen it on any online pics or anything....just a thought.

t3t4...tial wastegate 35mm, tial bov, spearco intercooler..some VERY loudass fuel pump, and 2 partridges and a pair tree.

u only run 3 psi?

it was only dyno'd at 3. at the time i hadn't put in the electronics yet so it was running off the wastegate spring (3lbs)...rite now i have low boost set to 5 and high boost set to 8.

with 3lbs i'll peel a little bit at the top of first, with 5psi it'll peel a lot at the top of 1st and thru 2nd, w/ 8...all i have to say is DAMN i need some slicks.

Turbo is great and Im getting dyno'ed tomorrow so Ill post most results tomorrow night. Its definately worth the $ for turbo. Im gonna get dyno'ed and run 8psi daily driven. I run 6psi daily driven now but my injectors are being put in tomorrow along w/ AFC so Im gonna raise the boost. Im excited
