ok i know that the majority of you have the A/F ratio guage. question. is it supposed to bounce around all the time? and what wire did you hook yours too? the one on the O2 sensor or the wire off the ECU?. when i get on the car or when i am idleing it will stay in one spot but while normal drivin it just goes from one side to the next sometimes fast sometimes slow.

ok i also have a vac. guage. question. when you push the gas down does your needle move any at all? under idle mine sits around 15-20. depending on how much throttle i give depends on how far down it goes. if i give all throttle it goes to 0 and works its way up a little. i was looking in my mitsubishi book and it said that it could be something to do with the exhaust which i do have a leak or 2. but i was curious if it was supposed ot move with no problems at all.
both guages are autometer and are on a 95 eclipse. RS

any help would great ly be appreciated.

<Is it supposed to bounce around all the time?>
Yes, it will bounce back and fourth.

<And what wire did you hook yours too?>
White wire with black strip at the ECU.

<When you push the gas down does your needle move any at all?>
Yes.

<Under idle mine sits around 15-20.>
Same here.

<Depending on how much throttle I give depends on how far down it goes.>
When I give it gas, the needle moves up toward 0.

hey cool. ok i hooked mine to the same wire. i thought maybe my vac. guage was going down toward 0 cause of my exhuast leak.. so is it bad if your vac. guage hits 30? just curious
