I know this was discussed a week ago, but I thought of another question. When you get the port and polish - does that include the manifold and the runners. I just bought a spare intake manifold with upper and lower runners and I want to know if I need to buy all the gaskets and what parts need to be shipped to ARD.

Send the manifold gasket set (upper and lower) and TB gasklet they will port match it. do the runners and the TB inlet.

Do you guys know if the manifolds are the same between 95 and 96 Or did they change them to take the OBDII for the returnless fuel system?

accually you dont need to send the gaskets with the manifold.. ARD has a set on hand to port match.. ive got mine waiting to be installed come this next weekend.. cant wait.

Ask before you send to see about the gaskets. I remember something about this coming up a week ago.

All the manifolds are the same across the years. The fuel rail is what is different on the 95s.

I emailed them but havent got a response yet, only been a few days though. Can they bore the tb and put a new butterfly valve in like howell or do they just clean it up a little? I have my intake manifold and tb off the car and am ready to ship it somewhere... maby ARD, maby Howell... choices.. choices...

ARD has accually done a tb for me, but it is not the same as the overboring done by howell.. mainly what is done is that they increase the size a little and polish it up retaining the lip in the middle of the tb.. here are some pics..

hmm, if ARD cant bore to 55mm and install a new butterfly valve, i guess its going to howell...

i dont think that they can't they just wanted to try a diff approach to it.. im sure they could bore it to 55mm if you asked them.

well, i told them what i wanted done and they just replied with a price an an address... so I guess they can, we'll see if they do it right :-)

so Brad how much does it cost to have the tb bored and the manny p&p with the gasket matching

I dont know what their avg prices are or if they are cutting me a deal or not, or will do what they agreed to, but they said 150 for the p&p, gasket match, and rework the tb w/ new butterfly valve, I just tracked the manifold w/ ups and its been there for a few days now, I'll keep you posted when its recieved and post some pics..

btw how much hp are you up to now with the stage 5 i'm really thinking about building a monster too where are you at now hp wise
