I did a quick write up on how you can creat more space in you engine bay by taking out the big washer reservoir and only using the rear one. (if you have a rear one)

Yeah, pretty good idea. I just ripped out the nasty big stock one and put a smaller one in(about 1 liter), holds enough for me cause I dont drive the car often, expecially on marginal weather days.. but shit happens, hehe

Don't worry, you're not missing out on much. I hardly ever use my rear one. In fact, I hardly ever use my front ones (since it just gets my entire car even more dirty. For weight reduction, just take both of them out. I also like the idea of using a smaller 1 liter reservoir since I use mine maybe once every couple months. That is a very nice writeup though, and sounds like a really cool thing to do if you are willing to put some work into it (I'm too lazy hehe)

i took mine out when i first got my car.. well because they didnt work anyhow.. was all clogged up. so i just ripped it out.. so much nicer with out it.. plus withthe Cfhood whats the point..

Don't have perfomance camshafts... add them.
Don't have Stand Alone Fuel management... Add it.

Ya, a lot of people don't even use theirs. In that case I would just take it out as well. It makes a lot of room w/o it in. But I live in Denver and it snows a lot. That w/ the gravel they put down it makes hard to see if you don't have one. Some times I would empty the reservoir in one day. I need the room in my engine bay and still wanted to have the washers. The rear one is about 1/2 the size so at least it takes out some weight.

do u know if the light flips on (due to low resevoir levels, or not havin the sensor connected) after ditchin the whole front tank??

I hardly use mine here in DENVER so its seems feasable, but I'd need to see some more positives for doing so before Im going to put in the time/effort.

A place to mount your FRP or anything else, but still keep the washers.

Full maybe 10 lbs.?? This is NOT a performance mod. It is a space saving mod. The weight being gone is just a (small) plus. You’re reading into it too far. It was done by me just to make some room. Nothing more nothing less.

Well when you need room this little write up might help.
Time and effort are what set me apart. This was just a write up done for the heck of it.
