I use the cheapy gas. I was told to once and a while use the more expensive gas and it would be good for your engine. I was also told too much of premium is also bad for our engines in the long run..
Any advice?

Unless you have turbo or are usning nitrous you are just throwing you money away using that expensive shit. The cheap gas works best in the lightly modified 420A engine.

Lower Octane gas contains more energy per unit, runs hotter, and the lower the octane, the more easily it ignites. Higher octane gas contains less energy per unit, runs cooler, and the higher the octane, the harder it is to ignite.

Those of us with turbo or nitrous must use high octane to avoid detonation and to keep engine temps down. However, if you're not turbo or nitrous, then lower octane will actually produce more power (albiet not much more, but every little bit counts.) This is also the reason people running turbo and nitrous like to upgrade their ignition system (in order to ignite the high quantity of low octane fuel.)
