I have a used GST muffler and am debating whether or not to put it on. Anyone who has one on: do they cause you to loose low end toruqe? I would like to keep what low end torque I have. Can you notice any difference in performance low end or high end? And also how does it sound? I don't want my car to sound like a pissed off bumble bee. thanks.

I have a GS-T muffler on my 97 RS. To be honest I really didn't notice a difference either way as far as losing low-end torque or gaining HP. I like the sound of it though. It has a deeper grumble when you're idling and doesn't sound too riced out when you accelerate. The main reason I put it on is for the nice shiny dual chrome tip!
