did u paint ur valve cover or is it powder coated?

i don't know about captian mike, but i powdercoated mine

I think i remember mikes post from way back when, saying that he sanded it, used engine paint, and baked it in his oven.

For once something else got baked! :P

well i was either gonna get a chrome one from www.streetbeatcustoms.com or probably paint mine w/ engine paint thats why i was askin cause his looked pretty good

ya Advaced Racing Dynamics sanded it down a lil' and put that 1500 degree engine paint on it and baked it in the oven.

Bake at 450, twankie minutes or until a golden brown :P

serve chilled on ice haha

I just need to clean the engine bay up again, the red is still just as good as it was first done, but dirty as hell right now.
