I am putting my colder plugs in today, as my bottle heater has arrived! :-) a while ago, i asked what to gap a 7-range plug at for nitrous, and i believe HRC replied to gap it at .030.. i did this and it looks REAL close. im really ignorant when it comes to the plug gap, so does this sound like the right gap to use? im not questioning HRC's recommendation, just making sure. thanks for any help.

Could possibly be right. That short of a gap may be needed so that you don't blow the spark out with all that pressure in the cylinder head.

I would try it and see how things go with it. You can always go wider later on.

I kinda need some plugs.. How do you tell what gap is appropriate? I'm turbo'ed as well... so should i try .30 as well? Howd it work out for ya?

I would say go with a gap of .035" and increase from there, depending upon ignition set up.

A weird note on plug gap. My neon says gap the plugs at .035". My Eclipse manual say .048" and with my current ignition set up I'm running .060"+ I wonder why the difference in suggested plug gap in stock form?

Always question HRC! They told me its fine to run 130 psi of fuel pressure through stock injectors at 8 psi of boost. bullshit. thats a bad idea, injectors max out at 100 psi. But i would not recomend buying a turbo kit from anyone else but Hahn! And not to go way off topic, but it never hurts to post your questions here and get 10 answers instead of geting 1 from the tech at hahn who just wants to get you off the phone. I have been running a .035 gap and it works great. hrc stage 3 @ 10 psi.

i would get Bosch Platinum 2's or 4's and not worry about gapping them. They are factory preset gapped.

.035 is good its what it sez in my old posts archive :thumbsup .030 could work also.
