138587, AEM cam gear and idle pulley questions Posted by electrohead, May-12-15 02:16 AM
Hey, guys. I'm at the point of my project where I'm about to install my timing belt and crank it over for the first time in over a year, but I got a couple of questions.
1) What is the safest way to tighten up the center camshaft bolt to 73 lbs? I have the 5 bolt design of the AEM adjustable cam gears and since they're not solid like the original 3 bolt design, I don't want to damage them. 2) What is the proper torque for the idle bearing bolt? The Haynes Manual doesn't give enough info. Thanks in advance.
