138331, Deepest muffler

Been out of the game for awhile now, was curious if anyone knew of the deepest toned muffler out there now? I am going to be building a custom exhaust with a SLP resonator to get the tone deeper, but need a muffler to slap on the end of it as well. Wish I could get that STi deep tone :)

Well this isn't a current muffler but I'm going to mention it anyway. In my early years of owning my 95 and before I really started reading up on upgrades I bought an Ebay muffler. It was a BOMZ universal. 2.5" inlet, 3.5" outlet and was angle cut. Now at the time I just wanted an aftermarket sound and wasn't even sure how it would sound but I was so surprised how little rasp there was and how good the tone was. It was very throaty. I'm not sure if BOMZ is even still around but if they are that is a muffler I'd go with again.

I have a 3" in 3" out universal flowmaster on mine and it has a pretty deep tone.

Vibrant mufflers also have a good tone. Nothing raspy or high pitched.

I had part # 1149 on my galant vr4 for a long time. I like the flat black finish also.
