mines a Hurricane_GS short shifter. I shipped my stock one to him, and he sent me a welded/cut modified shifter. i love it. works great. Don't waste ur money on a $200 B&M shifter man. Email glenn.

Thanks guys. I'll do the home kit. How do I get to Glenn?
Erik, unless Glenn doesn't have one to ship, I probably won't need yours. But, thanks much. If plans change I will make an offer for your stock stick.
In case I decide to do this myself (have my exisiting shifter cut locally), how much to cut and where to make the cuts?
Thanks again. Candude

well you can just do a search for his name Hurricane_gs his email address is in his sig. He tests them for strength and everything. I have one too and love it. Its 2in shorter than stock and its only 40 bucks. You send him the money, then he sends you the shortened stocker and then you just mail him back your original.

I also chopped my shifter and it not only feels alot better it looks pretty sweet too.... simple if you have a sawzall and a welder... took me like 20 minutes... (longer to get it out and put it back in than the chopping part)

Thanks again to all for the advice and suggestions. I have just ordered the stick from hurricane_gs and a Symborski shift kit from Mach V. Figure I'll get kill tow birds with one stone... Can't wait to install and drive. Looks like this damn car is turning into a project afterall. :-)
Why did you guys have to make it so easy and fun to blow some dough? Oh well. If it aint something, it's always something else.
