My temperature gauge recently stopped working, I'm not sure of how to check whether it is the sensor or the actual gauge so I was looking for a some insight on this. I don't know if this would matter or not but I did just replace my timing belt and timing components, and the first run I made with the car after this was when I noticed it was no longer functioning.

Check the single wire connector in your thermostat housing (where your upper rad hose connects).

Yep, also check the connector - my connector stopped clamping ok and the gauge quit.

Its just a 1/4 female spade connector btw.

The sensor is cheap, too, if you just want to replace it.

Alright, I'll double check that connection and let you guys know.
