So I've taken the advice of a member and went to Autozone to get a reman and they gave me two different options. I thought our cars only had one type of motor (except for the gsx and gs-t) Here's the printout they gave me...

The second one is a 4G93 crank with flange style thrust bearing.


There were 2 different types of thrust bearings used with the 4g63.


Over the course of the 2.0L 420a there were three castings used, 4556721, 4557665, 4667755. You have one of those three in your motor and they are all the same. Casting differences are due to location, casting improvements, material, and date. typically these were used for quality control down the road. Years ago they were used for special applications such as High HP or application differences.

The G93 casting number is found on a crank used in a 92-02 4G93 found in 92-94 Expo or 92-96 Mirage.

I've purchased about 5 remaned cranks over the last few years, I never understood why the 4G63 crank popped up on their screen. Never-the-less, our crank has 8 bolts. Easiest way to recognize it given the GST/X use the 6/7 bolt crank ;)

Yes you are lol. I ordered off of their website and used a 20% off coupon making the total $153 shipped for the crank with main and rod bearings.... Awesome price....
