so im trying to install the main bearings to test the clearance of my crank, but the bearing farthest near the transmission (biggest bearing) isnt even fitting at all its to small. should i have he block shaved down? or do i have to get bigger bearings.

First, apply proper punctuation/spelling/grammar to your posts. Members are not likely to take the time to give you a well constructed response if you do not take the time to address them properly.

Next, indicate the part numbers you are attempting to use. That way members can research or double check for you. There is absolutely no reason to modify your block solely to replace bearings. It sounds like you are using an incorrect part.

Right, I will remember that for future posts... also the part number is F5052U AM. I hope this will help me attain an answer if there is any other information that I would need to post please let me know. I think it is a bad part just based off the fact that it does not fit, but I would like another opinion just to be safe.

Im not pulling up anything on that part number. What bearings are you using? Also a pic would be helpful as well.

That is not a valid part number from what I can tell. Again, indicate the brand of bearings you are using. Oversize? By how much? There are a lot of details you are failing to disclose here.

Some common part #s that should cross:

DNJ MB150, MB150A
Clevite MS2028P
Sealed Power 7328M

Well it seems that i gave the wrong number, the number is

BC217JSTD, and it is interchangable with 7328M OR MS2028P-STD

Also what I am looking for is the thrust bearing, since I finally found it in a manual I was reading.

It comes as a set. Or buy individually from Mopar dealer.

Hmm, thrust bearing? End journal? I suspect that you may be trying to put the thrust bearing in the wrong place. While many engines put the thrust bearing on the ends, some do not.
