136705, How to wire in fcd
Posted by Red90Sev, May-04-12 06:10 PM
Hey, bought an fcd with no instructions and can't seem to find anything in the search on how to install it... I've always used a Missing Link, so I've never dealt with an electronic one before. It's a 3 wire. Black, green, and red wires. I'm assuming it must be fairly simple....

The best bet is call the company who made it. They will tell you easily. If its symtech http://www.symtechlabs.com/support/docs/FCDInstall2420A.pdf

Our units have five wires, so it must have come from another manufacturer.

I'm not sure how 3 wires would work. Maybe splice into the power feed and negative but how to you get the signal back. I would see if you can return it and just by a Symtech one. Many have used them and when it comes to that you want quality.
