i'm some what new to the eclipses, i'm working on modding mine out but was curios if there were any performance chips recommended for these cars

Hey, Dont go that route. Start with intake, header, exhaust, throttle body. underdrive pully, ignition system, etc.. A cheap ebay chip could damage your car. There is no way to tell who made it or what its gonna do.. Plus there is no MAF (mass air flow sensor on our cars) so you cant trick it.

They don't make chips for our ECU plain and simple. Before doing anything with the ECU do the basics: intake, exhaust etc. You should search. This had been covered TOO Many times.

thanks guys, i already started out with the intake and exhaust modifications i was just trying to set a game plan for the future
