Bad head gasket or large air bubble moving around in the system. Do you have to add coolant every now and then?

Then it could possibly be your head gasket and you might be burning it up. You should do or get a compression test done. First thing I would start with though just to rule it out is make sure you bleed all the air out of the cooling system.

So I know its somewhat stupid... but I just banged my head against this for a while... is your radiator cap old? Mine would leak after a while, the engine's heat evaporated the coolant immediately. I spend a while to figure it out, was already thinking something wrong with pump/gasket.....
Who knows? maybe its a 2 dollar fix?

no just replaced it with a pressure safe cap it has the latch on it to relieve the pressure when it gets way to hot. and when u lift the latch it boils into resivor
