136296, Stock 420A pistons? Pics.

What do they look like? Are they supposed to be flat or slightly domed? I got the head off my motor tonight and noticed they looked different than the ones I took out of the block Im building.......

Why do the ones on the left look like higher compression pistons?

The piston on the left is a stock 2GNT piston. You've got what look like sohc neon pistons in the block.

Stupid Swype...

Id like to know how this happened. Either someone rebuilt it a long time ago like that, or got a block out of a neon for a rebuild. Whats the compression ratio on those pistons?

Quote from neons.org

SOHC pistons with a DOHC head=9.3:1
DOHC pistons with a DOHC head=9.6:1
SOHC pistons with a SOHC head=9.8:1
DOHC pistons with a SOHC head=10.3:1

A quick google search says a dohc head on a sohc block yields 9.3:1.

^^This. Guy threw a rod and had a Neon bottom end available. Just swapped out bottom ends.

My guess.
