136117, injector impedance help
Posted by TurbchargdSpydr, Feb-26-12 11:43 AM
Hey, back in the day, I was talking with someone about high impedance vs low impedance injectors, and I remember the other person saying that low impedance injectors were better than high impedance injectors in terms of having a megasquirt. Can anyone clarify or explain to me what the difference is in terms of megasquirt and gas milage/injector cycles? I already know that when tuning MS, it is easier with high impedance injectors because you don't have to adjust "duty cycles" IIRC. Thanks for any input.

Did you google search?

You do not tune the IDC per se. The IDC is a result of the fuel demand placed on them based on the air flow of your engine to achieve the desired AFR. One is not necessarily better than the other.
