All high impedance injectors are not the same. Brand & size combinations differ widely.

Is there a way to find the exact dead time? im using high-z rx7 460cc and i read on the miata forums that dead time increases as the injector warms up. how would you correct this?

There's a deadtime measurement tutorial here:

It's primarily meant for MegaSquirt users, but the principles apply to other capable EMS's and custom test rigs.

Thanks for the link. I dont know how i missed that part in the manual.

So basically the only way to find exact injector dead time is by physically testing it on the bench.Got it! =)

If i wanted to test one of the injectors using the JimStim could i just wire the negative side of the injector to Inj1 pin on the JimStim and the other Positive side to a 12v. Then using the test mode in Tunerstudio for testing dead time as shown using the measurement tutorial?
