So a while back i noticed that my car didn't have a pcv valve (how i did not notice before, i don't know)so i went down to the local VatoZone and bought one. I installed it and the car stopped burning oil (awesome!!!) Then i started having some weird idle problems, but didn't think much of it until I swapped over to the manual transmission. So i checked for vacuum leaks and nothing. Then i disconnected the pcv valve and plugged up the holes and BAM, no more idle problems but now it burns tons of oil. Any experts on this?

Did you disconnect the battery to let the ECU reset? Also have you scanned for any codes?

I have tried resetting the ecu and tried different ecu's. The codes i have come from running the auto ecu (i did try a manual ecu, same thing) with no tcu. And another since I installed the egr block off plates, the problem was present before taking the egr off. With the pvc connected, it acts as if there is a huge vacuum leak.

Is the valve still good? Stuck partially open? Spring doesn't work? Leak at any of the hoses for the PCV?

The valve is brand new, i have tried one from a working car, same thing. No leaks on any of the hoses.
