Just looking to see if some of you guys have bought new connectors(just the connector itself, not a pig tail) and connector pins from anywhere and recommend anyone. Its getting close to time for me to start putting my new harness back in and the old one won't work since I've made the jump to MS3-X and figured I'd start fresh. I would eventually like to go with an mil-spec connector for a quick disconnect but thats down the road as just the connectors and pins are about 300 bucks, and the tool to crimp them with is around 200. Right now I'm just looking for OEM connectors/pins. The connectors on the car now are not bad but I would love to start fresh. Thanks!

Check my pigtail thread in the engine management section. Corbin posted a link to a website to search for connectors. Finding raw connectors instead of pigtails may prove to be much more difficult though. I spent a lot of time searching vendors such as Mouser, Allied, & Digikey without success.

The GM MAT & CLT connectors can be had in the raw form via DIY.

im currently in the process of doing a 1jz swap in an 87 mitsubishi Starion for a friend. when we picked up the engine, from JDMenginedepot my friend and I both failed to notice the ECU connector was crushed. now with a lot of google searching i came about the company who made the connectors for toyotas wiring harness catalog in PDF form from 1992 (yes 1992!). then with a part number i was able to find a few vendors online. the problem I ran into and you may too is that they all want you to order in excess of 1000.

now long story short I stumbled onto NewUnitedRaceTech.com and I am glad that i did. These folks seem to have every bare connector under the sun! very knowledgable when I mistakenly chose the incorrect pins for the connector. they sent me an email asking if i had done that on purpose or not and asked which i wanted. They sent me out the proper pins with the connector and all is well. going to be ordering quite a bit from them in the near future!

It seems even they don't have the infamous TPS connector exactly but they do have this one, which SHOULD work but would have an extra key slot that is not needed...

The NURT is also going to be carrying the Mil Spec connectors for those who wish to use them for quick connects in the engine bay or where ever, they just haven't gotten that far yet!

Let me know if that works bro. I found that same pigtail during my hunt for a 2GNT replacement pigtail in my thread, http://forums.2gnt.com/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=54&topic_id=5058&mesg_id=5058&page=2

But had my doubts from looking closely at the sensor and the stock pigtail. It might work, but from as much analyzing as I could do from Internet pictures of the it, I decided to pass and go with the 2.4 TPS swap.
