135716, the 3 ecu plugs behind the radio help please Posted by nzty420a, Jan-07-12 03:40 PM
there are 3 plugs behind our radio on 2gnt eclipse , one blue , one white , and one more white abut a little smaller . Well my problem is in the blue one . Does anyone have a wire diagram of what these wires go to in the plug . If i can get a diagram for all three that would be great . thanks.

The blue is the windshield wipers IIRC.

Go there and you can download the Electrical FSM.

the link you posted isn't working . and i can see some wires working for the wiper motor but some others going to the ignition switch for the ecu main power and switch power just i don"t have the dash side of the harness to verify this .

You should post a pic...Which of the 3 connectors are you referring to? There are a few blue wires on one connector for windshield wipers and on the other connector there 2 blue wires one for the battery light and another labeled as 'brake warning light' at the ecu

I think i misunderstood your first post. Your just talking about the blue connector itself right? Well the bigger blue connector connects to the windshield wipers as well as ASD power, oil level, fuel pump, evap solenoid and a bunch of others i forget but i have a diagram at home i can post later but its not for EVERY wire on the connector lol

Secret motor swap? those plugs are what connect the engine harness and what not to the dash harness etc. Like Tim said, the blue has the majority of your winsdshield wiper stuff in it and some other stuff that I don't remember off hand.

I hope this is what you are looking for. i heard some wires may or may not be on each connector according to which model and year eclipse you have. Mines was a 1997 GS. And the 2 red wires on the bottom of the connector which arent labeled i dont know where those two go i guess the labels which used to be on them came off sometime. Good luck with the project!
