aight folks, me and fast420a were chattin last night, and goin over what kinda spit caused my camlobe grindage, and i went lookin for my old service records.

well, at my 30k service, my dumbass, X-mechanic, over-torqued my spark plug in cyl2, well, i took it to satan at 45k cuz i was havin problems.

they heliocoiled/retapped the spark plug hole, and replaced the gasket (removed valve cover,this is important).

when they retapped the hole, they didnt keep theh areas clean of metal shavings, etc and put the valve cover back on while unwanted things were still chillen inside.

well, this is the most obvious reason for my grindage.

also, i did a comp test right before my problems, and i got
190-175-185-190
when satan did the comp test they got
60-175-175-175

sumthin aint right on that. any clues?
i told the 888mitsu peeps to tell the dealer to do a leakdown test.

i dunno if they have, but after speakin w/satan this mornin, we both agreed that they performed the service that i mentioned above.

i will keep yall updated, cuz i know i will have more ?s to answer if i have to rebuild the head, like they suggested when i first spoke with them.

I had mitsu do the same thing on my car when I was getting service done. They stripped out my number 2 sparkplug hole. Once again I bitched and bitched and had them fix it for free.

Im glad you proved it was their fault... now lets all hope they fix it right this time...
