wow that looks rather good imo (not sure how I feel about the bolts going into the plenelum, but if the weld are good and the inside is nice and smooth, this could be a great upgrade. Reminds me of an AMM that would increase mid range over top end.

For the money, I think I would go AMM. Even though it may take a while...

looks like a copycat of a short run manifold that was made by fast fabs back in the day. i've been running one since dirt.

Does anyone have any factual data on it? As in, dyno time with stock upper plenum, and time with the upgraded?

Looks pretty legit, aside from the vaccuum ports being on the far left side, youd need to extend the brake boosted line.

Same site has two different type tubular manifolds for the 420a. I remember seeing dougies name associated with the site somehow.

For that much and what you get id try to just build it myself. Or contact AMM. His intake is better and probably from the look of it a lot less of a pain to install.

I dont get how you figure that. The upper intake takes me about 15-mins to take off, then slap the other on. AMMs took me about 8 hours to install

I was looking at the over all design of the intake how it bolts from the bottom just like the stock. When I tried to take my upper intake off while it was still on the car I spent like 3 hours messing with it before I wedged my hand behind the intake and took the whole assembly off. Have not done an AMM intake instal but im building one to some what of the look alike.

The upper is easy to take off if you either have really small hands, or if you jack the car up and use about 2-3ft of ratchet extensions, if you dont do that, its a PITA. The AMM is also a PITA, but only because while it does bolt right up for you, you have to customize a lot of things, such as windshield fluid reservoir, throttle cable, heater hose (I think bullet got away with his stock set up, I had to customize mine) battery trey/ and or relocation, and these are just the things that have come to mind off the top of my head.

I too was interested in this intake since it would be better for us turbo users since it shortens up the runners but i figured for that price you can get a custom one fab'd up the way you want. dont like all the port holes on the opposite end though.
