I just finish rebuilding my 420a motor and now having problems installing it into the engine bay. I didnt have any problems removing the engine. Can anybody help me with some clues with installing the motor? I dont want to have to remove the transmission unless theres no other way. FYI, Im using a 2tone engine hoistwhich is very hard to move around because it keep hitting the 2 front wheels.

What exactly are you having trouble with? If the engine hoist is hitting the tires, put the car on jack stands, and remove the tires.

Im having trouble getting the motor to fit between the transmission and the car. It keep getting stuck. I spent almost half a day trying to work the engine into the bay.

Why did you not say that the first time. Is your crank pulley removed?

You have to remove the crank pulley if you're going in that way, otherwise it won't fit.

Indeed, Crank Pulley has to be off, some say you "should" leave the alternator off, but I just keep it on untensioned to move it around as needed.

I just swapped one without removing Tranny last week "MTX", but essentially the same idea. Just keep working it, watch the Passenger side Shock/Strut tower area, Use a long crowbar to help guide it into the trans, Lower/Higher as needed. Not sure if will help you, but when I put them back in, sometimes it helps to tilt the engine toward the front of the car, just enough then the block usually squeeze's between trans & bay, flywheel lined up, BAM!

Haha, I know it looks easier on paper, but you'll get it.
