134711, Has anyone tried this? Posted by xxsoccerguy55xx, Jul-29-11 06:01 PM
This is something i found on ebay while searching for a CAI. I have never heard of it or seen anyone use it. It says there is a 13% increase in horsepower (ya right LMAO). Does anyone know if they do absolutely anything, or if they sound nasty (like a turbo)?

You didn't post a link, but I can tell you they're worthless junk. They do absolutely nothing and you'll see absolutely no gains.

Just posted the link, sorry. Do you know how they sound? I am not really expecting any hp gains.

It will sound like loose bits of metal being lodged into the valves and combustion chamber causing catastrophic failure.

Yeah,it's a gimmick designed to take money from people that don't know any better.
Turbochargers sound like they do because they spin 40,000 - 120,000 RPM. This won't do that.

I would like to know how something would spin at the claimed RPM without any kind of lubrication.
