Had the car retuned.
This was at 85 degrees and 90% humidity:

I am going to redyno in a month or so when its broken in more.
I now have targets on my back from Colby and Steve, but we are ready!
This wouldnt have happened without Zac. Major props go out to him. Motherfucker can tune! Helped with the builds, tuned, even broke it in while I was away on business. Once again, Hubert only had to change 2 fuel bins on the tune Zac did, and Zac knew about them. In the future its Zac + det cans. 167whp was on Zacs tune :)

Beaten by 3WHP and 10 ft. lbs of torque...Guess Im 3rd in the world for now lol. Congrats. How does that High compression motor feel on the street though? Cant wait to get mine together.

Did you get a vid on the dyno? If not, you at least have to get a buddy and have him record while you enter a freeway on ramp! I want to hear this thing. Crower cams + High compression = VTEC!

Bwahahaha!! Congrats man. Now THIS is getting fun!
Let's see; what are the Crane numbers? What TB do you have? and what intake are you using?

I imagine you would be loving this. You are the first to do take the 2GNT to the level that youre at all motor, and now theres an all out brawl for 2nd place. Tims new numbers pushed me into calling my Dyno shop and asking for a date to try my new spark advance table on the rolls, see what final numbers I can come up with before I start my 10.5 compression block.

And Crane 18s.
Did some reading MB on your old stuff, I think my IM is choking me out now.

Can I get highest in the world without MS? Wait till my high comp build which will blow both you out of the water! Especially because I wont be getting choked by my intake.. well maybe if one day.. oh never mind.

Did some reading MB on your old stuff, I think my IM is choking me out now. Yeah, I'm thinking about stuff that would free up some air, as well (short of an LTH). I'd really, really, really like to see a pull with an SRI on there (something at least 3" in diameter with a step down coupler, not the "squash a 3 inch coupler with a clamp" style).
That's the reason I was asking about the Crane 18's numbers. Is it at least Crower 2 size or better?
I would also like to see you in a different intake. Even if its just the OBX (keep in mind that the OBX had a better peak and a better curve over my ported stock. Not that I'm pushing it, but if you are interested I still have the OBX that I used in the write up. I'd sell it to you for er, a pretty cheap price - pm me if interested).
But some sweet progress!

Actually curious how you do this, as I have already talked to Colby on the matter, isn't the V2 made for a 55ishMM opening where as you are running a 60mm TB, so aren't you bottle-necking?

Wern't those hp/torque numbers corrected for the temp and humidity? If not then they'd be a bit higher I'd assume, since it was hot and humid during the run (relatively speaking)
170 to wheels, good job! ROUGH estimate 200hp to crank? Sound about right?
Sorry if I missed it, but what tuning and compression pistons are you running?
And, that dip in the torque curve at 3500rpms is still there. It is absolutely a quirk of the engine, intake manifold tuning, or such.
I'm actually planning on dynoing my car soon (next month some time) and while I am 100% certain I will not be anywhere near those numbers, it will be interesting to see what is reaching the wheels.

Nope! Was not corrected :)
And 200 crank seems right.
Thanks man, I appreciate it!

lol, I cant help it, I like how Vtec sounds on a nicely done Honda. I actually had one Honda guy tell me my car sounded like a Vtec crossover at high RPM from the front. From the back it just sounds like shit...

So I just now learned something. Apparently, whatever you Dyno, the torque curve and horsepower curve will always intersect at 5252 RPM. Meaning at that RPM, HP=Torque. Weird.
