im using a 2.4 water pipe, and it seems to hit the starter.. am i missing something here? it looks like the 2.0 wather pump sticks out further then the 2.4, so im wondering whats the fix or what others have done?

I used the 2.0L water pipe, cut the brackets off, rotated it a smidge out to clear the starter, and welded new brackets on.

i dont have any brakets on mine except for the OEM block to pipe bracket, i already removed those. i tried to rotate it and it still doesnt want to clear and stay seated correctly.

Mine is cocked at a little bit of an angle coming out of the pump housing, but it doesn't leak. Just tweak it to clear, it'll be fine.

Cody, that's what I did to mine. Cut off both brackets, line it up to where it clears, and weld a new one on.

There is not off the shelf solution for this. Use an AN hose and fitting, or grab a flex-hose from Summit if necessary. You need to modify the pipe and brackets so that it fits your setup.

As long as it clears the starter and doesn't leak, it's fine.
