If you're on the ground looking up through the engine bay (w/ your left being driver's side and right being passenger's side)... where are the two nipples located on the vacuum resevoir?

That is... the big black plastic container right below the intake manifold, w/ 1x connection to the intake manifold & a 2nd connection to the cruise control servo (the silver cylinder located directly underneath the throttle box).

I just got done switching out my upper intake manifold w/ boosted60/chris's polished one, and I'd like to re-hook up my cruise control (which has never worked, due to well... the vacuum lines having been popped off). I can't see for $*@#%! and my hand doesn't fit up in there very well either, help?!?

Honestly, I would normally go out to one of my cars and take a look (I currently have a 98 out there with cruise). But with the weather I just haven't been able to get under to look at it (my garage bays have other cars in them right now). Its been so long since I have had looked at a box, I don't really rememeber. But I was pert near sure that the nipples came out on the side of the box (passenger side).

I appreciate it... it's a real b!tch to even see let alone reach! Unmovable intake manifold and cruise servo covering from the top w/ unmovable axles and crossmember covering from the bottom... ugh, thank you for telling me where to look!!

Yeah, they're on the passenger side of the box. It's a serious PITA to get to them too.

I have also been meaning to get out to my garage and snap a pic of the cc box as I removed it from the car a long time ago, but there is soo much snow between my back door and my garage!

If you don't get all the lines hooked up, I'll make the trek out there and snap a pic one of these days. But yea, if I recall correctly it is on the passenger side towards the firewall side of the box.

For anyone searching...

1.) The two nipples on the vacuum resevoir/tank are recessed into the passenger-side, and are completely flush with the siding... you can NOT 'feel' them to find them. They literally look like two tiny little donuts cut into the facing.

2.) The vacuum lines are extremely EASY to attach IF you remove the oil filter... the resevoir/tank is directly above the oil filter, and there is no problem reaching the entire resevoir. If you do NOT remove the oil filter, they are damn near impossible.

3.) The vacuum line coming from the intake manifold is slightly longer than the vacuum line coming from the cruise servo, and should be attached to the LOWER/bottom nipple. I don't believe there are any issues on one versus the other, but you will winde up stretching the cruise servo's vacuum line a bit.

4.) Once you attach the vacuum line to the resevoir/tank, there is absolutely ZERO way of detaching them... don't ask me how mine became detached in the first place. But I discovered #3 (previous) a bit too late, and could NOT remove the vacuum line no matter how hard I pulled.

...thankfully, I needed an oil change. The only reason why I found this out, is because I was already under the car when I pulled the oil filter & was too lazy to get out from under and back again... and decided to take a look.
