132914, weird starting problem? Posted by bnisson, Jan-09-11 09:57 AM
When i turn my key to crank the car, the whole car goes dead. turbo timer shuts off, dash lights shut off... everything. If i leave the key in the ON position and just barely adjust the negative terminal of the battery everything turns back on. I can then try to crank again, only to get the same results.
The negative terminal is tight and i have put dielectric grease on it to make sure there is a good connection.
any ideas?

Dielectric grease is an insulator. Learn to read product descriptions and instructions.
