A while back i mentioned that DreamSpeed (an avenger/sebring/cloud car specialist) was thinking about doing a SC for our 2.0's. i hadnt heard anything in a while so i asked about it on the www.stratusphere.org board, and supposedly it is still gonna happen. the kit is based off a custom install done on an Eclipse RS

now, i like my turbo, but there may be another option for others soon...

All I can say is.....you think you bad traction with just that turbo? Then go to a supercharger....good luck getting traction...

on of the post at that stratussphere place said putting a super charger in a FWD vehicle is pointless, he said it takes power to make power and said the piping would be everywhere and you would have to give up air conditioning, he said better to just go turbo

whoever said all that is a dumbass.. if anything turbo chargers put piping everywhere. and most superchargers are bolted directly to the intake manfold IE: they don't use any piping.

I could rant on a few more things.. but I won't :)

generally with a supercharger you will need somebody that has made a kit.. unless you want to custom fab one.. and i haven't seen any superkits for the eclipse.. but i'll post a link to a company that makes a couple kits.. one for the focus...

that will give you a good look at what a basic supercharger setup is.. that is a blower style one.. and not a centerfugal one.

If this was done for under $3k it would probably be a better deal for an auto....other than that get a turbo kit :)
