Does anyone know which one of the 3" ebay catbacks go over the rear cross member? Anyone have one? Feedback on them?

iirc, none. having a 3" almost leaves zero clearance and would rattle on something. Most, if not all, go under the cross member. Does it matter? I don't scrape...

Do you have a pic? Is your car lowered? I've heard some of the 3" ones go over it, but are dimpled a little to clear it.

Pretty sure if you want perfect bends in the exhaust with no crimping and you are going to go for 3" piping, you need to go under the cross member.
I run the Thermal Research 3" SS catback which goes under. The car is lowered on Tokico HP struts and Eibach Prokit springs, and I have never once scraped that section or the muffler.
Here is a pic:

I am on Eibach Prokits, running 215/55WR16, and have never scraped the portion that goes under the crossmember. And that is with SoCal roads/driveways etc too.

Very nice, thanks for the pics guys. I guess it going under the crossmember was less of an issue than I thought it was. Thank you.

Just to add some more confidence in under the crossmember, my HKS points up and out to the side, really low to the ground. Less clearance than Ebster's pic.
I have NEVER scraped it :)
Just dont drive over anything tall down the center of the car, if that makes sense.

I have the SRS 3" that goes over, never had a problem with it rubbing or vibration on anything. Untill I put my prothane engine mounts in, now it clunks on the cross member from time to time. I wish I could go under the cross member, but with my air ride I'm afraid It would hit when its dropped.

I picked this up last winter, and just installed it about 2 weeks ago. It goes over the cross member and doesn't rattle for me at all. It fit perfectly and it sounds amazing. There is absolutely no rasp to it. I only put on because my old stock exhaust rusted out so I still have the stock header and cat on there. $139.99 *SHIPPED* is one hell of a deal for 3" mandrel bent stainless. All of the mounting points are welded on there, and you use the stock rubber hangers to hang it. I would definitely recommend this one.
I might be able to snap pics for you if you're interested.

You get what you pay for. It looks gay. The muffler looks like shit. If you are saving pennies then go for it but realize what you are getting.

Lol, I'm not that cheap, there's no way that could be of any quality. Good find for someone looking for a cheap way though.
