hey guys, i know this is the complety wrong place to ask this butt, my friend has a 95 civic hatch. it burns oil only when you rev it real high, or punch it. if you hold the throttle in one place it will quite. and the owner befor him put deisel oil in it. i was told that its only burning oil cause all the deisel oil needs flushed out. but we did an oil change its still doing it. bad rings?

Try some capitalization, punctuation, spell check, and word usage.

Prove that you are not someone that took English classes on a cell phone and people will be more apt to help you.

Its not because you put diesel oil in it. That's, well, really reaching for an excuse. Are you sure the guy didnt put diesel FUEL in the gas tank?

Are you sure its oil? The conditions sound more like it is fuel smoke, like i said, maybe put diesel in the tank.

Make sure the PCV is not stuck open

Check the vent hose from the VC to the intake pipe
You may have excessive blowby airating the oil in the VC and its blowing into the Intake pipe/intake.

Otherwise i am going to suspect rings are wearing out or you have a stuck oil ring.

enough fuel will sometimes appear blue/grey. Its not often but i have seen it. Moisture content has a lot to do with it too.

If its an obvious blue then sure, thats oil.

ya its oil. but the thing that gets me is, it dont do it at all when its idling, and if you puch it, it will smoke bad then stop. if it was the rings it would do it all the time right? and he just replaced the head gasket and valve seals so its not that.
