129562, Ground wire on firewall? Posted by WhiteTalon96, Feb-09-10 07:58 PM
Hey guys, I made a post yesterday or the day before about my car stalling and not starting again until cold. Today when I was tinkering I found a ground wire that is attached to the firewall, but not anything else. It is yellow and black, about 6 inches long, attaches to the firewall not directly in the center, more towards the passenger side. This ground is represented in the repair manual, but nothing says what it is supposed to be connected to, and I can't find it for the life of me. Should it be on the intake mani? Maybe this is why my car dies... I would have taken a picture but my digi is broke, but this seems like a fairly easy question to answer. Thanks! Scott

That ground wire is attached to one of the two throttle cable bolts on the intake manifold of my car.

That's because that's where it belongs.
